I look forward to meeting you and partnering with your kiddos' learning! Since I live in Juneau, you may have met me through some of my previous jobs - a Kindergarten and 1st grade teacher with the Juneau School District, coach for the Juneau Nordic Ski Club and ski instructor at Eaglecrest.

I enjoy spending time with my partner and our dog Asta working on cabin projects, getting out on the water, and up into the mountains. Reading, berry picking, and xc-skiing also top the list of my favorite activities, some or all of which I hope to share with students in the coming months.

I am the proud parent of two kids, both of whom attended Juneau Co-op preschool. After 4 years of hands-on preschool experience, I feel ready to start this journey of teaching at JCP.

I am a believer in our play-based learning program. I see the importance of allowing your children to set their own pace and choose their activities, all while learning how to interact with their peers and with parents who are not their own. I am thankful for the opportunity to see these great young minds interact with the world in many different settings and mediums in this caring community classroom.
